After dropping some classic ec2a dubplates, Bristol producer Longeez is applying major pressure on the second UNIT6 EP: a funhouse of head-pounding house and trance, all withsidewinding bass that gives you no option but to move. “Hit My Woop” comes laced with DirtySouth rap vocals while “Too Much Booty” messes with wild-eyed rapping that demands ass-shaking from everyone on the floor. Longeez adds in whistles, fizzing acid and adrenaline-rushing yelps-it moves with the urgency of someone with their phone on 2% battery.“Funki Beat” switches to helium-filled donk with a trancey second act, and “Lasers” comes right behind with a attention-nabbing synth that could be a morse code, then a finale worthy of closing the night out and hot enough to set the sprinklers off.
